Simone Cole is a Corporal in the United States Army as part of its Chaplain Corps, a cover for her actual employment with Jericho Squad, the combat arm of the United States of America's Department of Occult Warfare.

History[]

As a programmer and obsessive numerologist, Cole's gifts are purely intellect-based. She was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4. Because her parents wouldn't accept that she was different, she was homeschooled.

Unspecified trauma has left Simone haphephobic (fear of being touched), nyctophobic (fear of the dark), and claustrophobic (fear of enclosed spaces).

Her harness is occupied by a custom built computer used to run cabalistic and chaos mathematical sequences that have a profound effect on the physical world. By creating 'anchors' to particular points in space-time, Cole is able to download additional supplies, intensify the group's firepower and slow the passage of time for brief periods.

She is terribly protective towards her equipment-often prioritizing the system's safety above her own and prefers low report weaponry that is unlikely to cause interference.

She is killed when Jericho Squad confronts the Firstborn, along with Xavier Jones.

Abilities[]

  • Infinite Loop - For a short period, Cole can loop time around the squad, slowing down the world while still being able to move and act.
  • Firestorm - Once Cole activate this ability, she can intensify the team's firepower for a short period

Note: If Cole's powers are not deactivated within a certain period, she will temporarily lose contact with reality. Her system will then take several seconds to recharge.

Weapons[]

Primary Weapon[]

  • X-86 Assault Rifle
    • Max. Ammo Capacity: 500
    • Magazine Capacity: 45

Secondary Weapon[]

  • Grenades
    • Ammo Capacity: 20

Tactical Analysis[]

It's best to use grenades against hordes of enemies. Her Infinite Loop ability is good if you want to get up close and personal, since enemies seems to be less accurate when Cole is slowing time.
